Location

Glanrhyd Cottage, Llanrwst Road , Betws-y-Coed, United Kingdom

Glanrhyd cottage is located at the edge of the village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The cottage is secluded and access by car is gained by driving down a private gravel track. Depending on the time of year there may well be sheep or cows grazing in the surrounding fields.

Betws-y-Coed is a pretty village and popular tourist destination with many attractions. It is ideally situated off of the A55 and easy to get to by both road and train.

Being so close to Betws-y-Coed train station (due to the suspension bridge being temporarily closed the walk into town takes approximately 25 minutes but usually it is 15 mins by foot through delightful countryside – you might need wellies on occasion!) it is not essential to have a car. Trains run daily to nearby Llandudno Junction, however, we would encourage you to check train times before booking.

The cottage has a breathtaking location overlooking the sparkling clear water of the river Conwy in the heart of the Conwy valley. It is surrounded by mountains and forestry and opposite is the popular Betws -y-Coed golf club (see activities).
