Q. What is your capacity?

A. 4 people maximum in two double beds.  We are strict on this point.

Q. Why should I book direct?

A. Because you will save on fees and we are able to offer you the same peace of mind as the major channels (please read our terms & conditions.) We have been renting our cottage for over twenty years and have many returning guests year on year.

Q. How far are you from the village on foot?

A. Usually it is a fifteen minute walk, however, at the moment the suspension bridge is closed so it is approximately 25 minute walk along the main road - but it is literally a five minute drive. 

Q: Do you allow pets and is the garden enclosed?

A: Yes we allow one well behaved dog but on request only and there is a charge of £25.00. The garden is enclosed and we have had many dogs stay without issue, however, we cannot guarantee a dog won't escape. Some people bring a stake and long lead for this reason. The surrounding fields often have sheep or cattle in so if you think your dog could be a nuisance to them please do NOT bring it.  

Q: Do you have WiFi?

A: Yes. 

Q: Is the cottage suitable for young children?

A: Yes many families stay with young children and we stay with our own, the garden is enclosed BUT due to the proximity of the river and sometimes cattle in the surrounding fields there is inherent danger so we strongly advise young children are supervised at ALL times when outside.

Q. Do you allow fishing?

A. Yes we do but this is by prior arrangement only and there is a charge. All local laws apply and there is a season.

Q. What makes your cottage unique from other cottages in the area?

A. There are many cottages in the area, but one of our most distinctive features is our location by the river and stunning views. We also like to think we go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible and we have put a lot of thought and care into the design which we like to think is simple but tasteful.  Our aim is for the cottage to feel like a home away from home from the moment you arrive.  Our track record speaks for itself we often get 5 star reviews and have a few guests who return year on year.
